Although still Winter we have seen a lot of sunshine this month with very little rain, until Monday night that is, when we had the worst thunder storm I have ever seen.

We had thunder, lightning and hail stones the size of marbles none stop for over two hours. My canopy over the car collapsed under the weight of ice and we had water coming in through the ceiling in the dinning room and a spare bedroom, I don't think any one escaped not having water get in somewhere.

The roof of Vickie's bar and the Hillside club both collapsed, the taxi rank collapsed on top of two taxi's, several bars and restaurants all lost their canopy's, all this in a couple of hours.

Tuesday the 9th was the Chinese New Year, so of course we had to go out and help them celebrate.
